Bruiser

Bruiser

In this reading Brew stands up to his abusive uncle after he got the scars from his brother getting beat. After spending the whole day with his girlfriend, Brew goes home to confront his uncle. He took charge and quickly disarmed his uncle from his bat. He continued by yelling at his uncle and almost punched but didn't have the heart to do it. Later the next day, Brews girlfriend sees his scars and tells the police getting Brews uncle arrested. Brews neighbor takes him and his brother in keeping their life somewhat normal. Later in this chapter the police find out the neighbors were arrested once making them not allowed to take in foster children so now Brew and his brother are worried they will be separated into different homes. Also, Brew is worried he will loose his girlfriend and his friends, the first friends he has ever made in his life out side his family.

I think this is the climax because this is the most tension I have seen in this book so far, the next chapter could be life changing for Brewster.
