In these couple of chapters the main character Samuel Colliez steals a locket from a pawn shop because it use to bee his moms before she sided. His dad died because of alcohol , he drunk beer everyday. Because his parents are both dead he was forced to live on the streets of London by himself but now he has to work as apprentice for steeling. At first he was very excited but now he resizes theres nothing to do on the ship but sleep. All the crew members restarting to rebel because they want to go instead of the maximum 7 year voyage. Samuel is only 10 years old and only works to as the captains servant but he's not really a captain. Its only been around 4 days and all the crew members want to go home I wonder wants going to happen in a month. So far in this book iv seen lots of fast words that makes this book seem a little dated such as livid. Also I find it ironic how Samuel is stuck on a boat for 7 years with a kid he beat up only a couple days before the trip.
